Vaccination?

Vaccination is too important because it can prevent potentially dangerous diseases like Canine Distemper, Fatal Parvovirus Infection, Rabies, and Hepatitis. It protects your pets and humans, and your family. Many canine viral & bacterial diseases can be transmitted to humans.

Types:

 Non Core Vaccines: optional vaccines not necessary

  • Leptospirosis
  • Canine Parainfluenza
  • Bordetella bronchiseptica

Core Vaccines: compulsory for puppy or dog health at a specific age

  • Canine Parvovirus
  • Canine Distemper
  • Infectious Canine Hepatitis
  • Rabies

Canine Vaccines Available in World:

1- Rabisin
For Rabies only.

2- Hexadog
Prevent from 6 major viral and bacterial diseases, i.e., Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Rabies, Leptospira canicola, and Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper).

3- Primadog
In Young dogs at (6 weeks to 6 months. Prevent from 5 dangerous diseases

4- Eurican DHPPi2-LR
It is another type of Murcian which covers six diseases, as mentioned above as well as Rabies.

5- Eurican DHPPi2-L
It is the combination vaccine that provides immunity against (Canine Parvovirus, Canine Parainfluenza Virus, Leptospirosis, Infectious Laryngotracheitis, Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis).

Vaccination Schedule

The dog should be dewormed before starting a vaccination program, and it is a must or a necessary evil. The lowest age for vaccination is 8-12 weeks (2.5 Months).

First of all, vaccination should be done against the most dangerous disease known as canine parvovirus at the age of 6 weeks, as Canine Parvo is a significant threat to young pups.

The second shot of Canine Parvovirus Vaccine, Primodog,  is given after three weeks of 1st shot.

Following two shots of primo dog, again, three weeks later, two shots of hexadog will be given similarly with an interval of 3 weeks. Finally, the annual booster of hexadog is given.

Most vets claim that Hexadog is the best vaccine for all other significant dog diseases, namely Canine distemper, Infectious canine hepatitis, Rabies, and Leptospirosis.

Vaccination (Dog) Schedule for Adults:

For more than 3-4 months, then after merely deworming protocol, two Hexadog Vaccine shots are given with an interval of 3 weeks. Then the annual booster dose is given every year.
